High on the High Catering, began in 1989, as an off-premise catering firm and quickly established a niche market as the first company in the State to provide professional "Pig Roasts". Sonny Esposito, an alumnus of the Culinary Institute of America, quickly expanded their menu offerings to include everything from hand-made hor's d'oeuvres, custom stations, grill menus, smoked meat specialties and continental cuisine. His wife Donette brought her Southwestern upbringing to the table, with her southern Americana specialties. Their business quickly expanded to include event-planning services, and they've organized and executed events from intimate, formal sit-down dinners for 30 to full-scale, over the top special events for 1500, where they've arranged tent and party rentals, entertainment, decorations, signage- even mini trains, all thematically designed.

Sonny and Donette relocated their business in 2002, after owning and operating their 200 seat banquet facility, TOSCANO PARK, to downtown Bridgeport, as part of the revitalization efforts Here, they own and operate Avalon CafÈ, a downtown eatery and coffee house, in addition to running their catering and food service business. With the latest influx of movie productions in the state of Connecticut, they've expanded their business to provide film catering and craft services, and have been proud to serve Leonardo DeCaprio and Kate Winslet on a recent Stamford shoot, and Phil Donahue's taping of "A Conversation for a New Century".
